Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the spice cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the spice cake batter as directed on the package.
  3. Pour half of the spice cake batter into a greased cake pan.
  4. Place the pumpkin pie on top of the batter.
  5. Pour the remaining spice cake batter over the pumpkin pie.
  6. Bake according to spice cake mix instructions until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  7. Allow the piecaken to cool completely.
  8. Carefully remove from the pan and place on a serving plate.
  9. Top with cinnamon cheesecake, then slice and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.

Notes

Make sure both the pumpkin pie and cinnamon cheesecake are fully cooled before assembling. You can also wrap individual slices and freeze them for a later treat. For an extra flavor twist, consider adding pecans or walnuts to the spice cake batter.
