Preparation
- Preheat your oven according to the spice cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the spice cake batter as directed on the package.
- Pour half of the spice cake batter into a greased cake pan.
- Place the pumpkin pie on top of the batter.
- Pour the remaining spice cake batter over the pumpkin pie.
- Bake according to spice cake mix instructions until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the piecaken to cool completely.
- Carefully remove from the pan and place on a serving plate.
- Top with cinnamon cheesecake, then slice and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
Notes
Make sure both the pumpkin pie and cinnamon cheesecake are fully cooled before assembling. You can also wrap individual slices and freeze them for a later treat. For an extra flavor twist, consider adding pecans or walnuts to the spice cake batter.
