Ingredients
  

For the pudding
  • 200 grams dried plums Soaked in hot water for about 30 minutes
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 100 grams breadcrumbs
  • 100 grams butter Melted
  • 4 large eggs Beaten
  • 250 ml milk
  • 50 ml brandy Or substitute with rum or non-alcoholic apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
For the Brandy Butter Sauce
  • 100 grams butter For melting
  • 50 ml brandy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Soak the dried plums in hot water for about 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon, then stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture with the milk; mix well.
  5. Incorporate the soaked plums into the batter.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased mold and bake for about 45 minutes.
Making the Sauce
  1. Melt together butter and brandy, stirring until smooth and glossy.
Serving
  1. Serve the pudding warm, drizzled with the brandy butter sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat slices before serving. Soaking the plums longer enhances flavor and texture.
