Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture.
- Sift flour and baking powder over the mixture and fold gently.
- Pour the mixture into a prepared mold and bake for 30 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool before unmolding.
Mousse Filling
- Whip the cream to stiff peaks.
- Mingle in the cream cheese and cocoa powder to create mousse.
- Cut the cooled cake into three layers and fill with mousse.
- Decorate the top with melted white chocolate.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
Serve garnished with seasonal fruits or toasted nuts. Store leftovers tightly wrapped or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
