  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Tossed with sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar For sweetening strawberries
  • 1 tub Cool Whip, thawed For layering
  • to taste Strawberry syrup For drizzling on top

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with the granulated sugar and allow them to rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice the Twinkies into rounds.
Assembly
  1. In clear dessert cups, layer Twinkie pieces, strawberries, and Cool Whip, repeating the layers.
  2. Top with an extra dollop of Cool Whip and drizzle with strawberry syrup.
Chilling
  1. Chill the assembled cups in the fridge before serving.

Notes
