Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, cream the butter and both sugars together using a spatula.
- Add in the vanilla and egg, and mix until smooth and well incorporated.
- Add the dry ingredients starting with flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Stir just until combined.
- Fold in the M&M's and chopped Oreo pieces.
- Using a large cookie scoop (1/4 cup – 4 tbsp), scoop out the cookie dough to create 10 equal cookies.
Baking
- Place the scoops on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes. They should look underdone in the middle.
- For perfectly round cookies, rotate them with a cookie cutter as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
Notes
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze the baked cookies for up to 3 months.
