Preparation
- Begin by preparing the sponge cake, cut into elegant layers.
- Prepare the jelly according to the packet instructions and let it set.
Layering
- Place the first layer of sponge cake at the base of a trifle dish.
- Pour the chilled jelly over the sponge cake.
- Add a layer of velvety custard.
- Chop the Raffaello chocolates and sprinkle them on top of the custard.
- Follow with a layer of fresh raspberries.
- Repeat the layers until the trifle dish is full.
- Top with white Christmas stars and refrigerate for a few hours.
