  • 1 piece Sponge cake Soft, airy, cut into layers.
  • 1 packet Jelly (gelatin) Follow packet instructions to prepare.
  • 500 ml Custard Use homemade or store-bought.
  • 200 g Raffaello chocolates Chopped into pieces.
  • 200 g Raspberries Fresh and tart.
  • 50 g White Christmas stars For decoration.

Preparation
  1. Begin by preparing the sponge cake, cut into elegant layers.
  2. Prepare the jelly according to the packet instructions and let it set.
Layering
  1. Place the first layer of sponge cake at the base of a trifle dish.
  2. Pour the chilled jelly over the sponge cake.
  3. Add a layer of velvety custard.
  4. Chop the Raffaello chocolates and sprinkle them on top of the custard.
  5. Follow with a layer of fresh raspberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the trifle dish is full.
  7. Top with white Christmas stars and refrigerate for a few hours.

Notes

Ensure the sponge cake is fresh for the best texture. You can experiment with different flavored jellies, and optionally add rum or vanilla extract to the custard.
