  • 1 piece pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
Cheeses
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese Creamy base for the pizza
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
Baking
  1. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the ricotta spread.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  3. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.

Be generous with the cheese and feel free to customize the toppings to your liking. Let your dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before rolling for best results.
